Fun With Family

You can tell my family that we're immature - but we know that already. So we live up to word by having insane amounts of fun with each other. We're always laughing and teasing one another.

We went to the Indian Pow-wow up at USU 2 weekends ago:

And since Ryan is off serving his mission we made sure we included a "picture" of him - Isla kissing her Pooh-Bear (You may wonder why we call Ryan Pooh-Bear, and we couldn't tell you exactly, it's just his nickname.)

We can blame our goofiness on our mother - she never takes normal pictures!

Ashley and Tiffany enjoying their scrumptious Navajo tacos

Kairie and Isla are becoming the best of friends (woo hoo, finally!! It was a love/hate relationship there for a little while!)

Watching the man dressed up in his finest...

Then he turned around and said hi to them, BIG mistake it scared them!

Travis and Micah then saw that someone was making balloons, so they had swords made for them...This is where the immature part of our family kicks in. It was an all out sword fight for the next 15 minutes. Micah had Isla in her backpack and started chasing down me, Travis, Tiffany, and then Grandma Maisie.

Yes, you can see Travis "spearing" our mother after she told us to calm down.

So those with divorced parents know that it's hard to fit everyone in a weekend schedule, so right after the Pow Wow we met up our dad to do some bowling.

Did Micah destroy us the first game: Yes.

Did he also win with Isla on his back the whole second game: Yes.

Then we purchased Isla her 3-in-1 trike, and we've been venturing out with her. She loves this trike and stays in it longer than she would her stroller now.

Micah's 1973 Toyota FJ Landcruiser is coming together very nicely - he recently put a slight lift on it. I will admit that us "women-folk" probably won't notice the huge difference. But shhhh, don't tell Micah. Or the rest of that manly-man-mechanic crowd.

We are bad parents and forgot to introduce Isla to Play-dough. So we found this cute little Elmo set and she's in love with play-dough, Why do I forget about these amazing things that will keep her occupied for 40 minutes by herself!?
